Jackie is worried about her sister and brother-in-law. They gamble -- often -- and travel out of town at least four times a month to casinos. She knows because they post everything on Facebook. She wants the family to host an intervention, but now mom is so angry she's no longer talking to Jackie.

Rita is a single mother of three and has hit rock bottom. Her friends took her for an evening of gambling, and despite her monetary problems, she was overcome by the rush of gaming. Now she cannot stop, borrowing here and there to gamble away. She's about to be evicted, and she and the children will be on the street. She's considering stealing, and doesn't know where to turn.

Sarah's son has been a patient at the Betty Ford Clinic and other rehab programs for the last 13 years for marijuana, gambling addiction, DUI and pathological lying. Months ago he was arrested for marijuana and a DUI, was booked into jail and lost his job. Mom figured this was rock bottom and hired an attorney. The moment the DUI was dismissed he began smoking, gambling and lying again full force. She has paid for everything and now she's had it. He blames it on his depression, although he refuses to take his meds. She asks, how do you help a son who constantly lies to you and betrays you? Do you know?

She has done terrible things, including stealing, lying, cheating.

We have been in counseling for a few months to address the controlling, obsessive and possessive behaviors, but now things are making sense.

My sister continues to operate on the same low, disgusting level every single day with out any remorse.
