Hogeweg is a Dutch village on the outskirts of Amsterdam. Pretty lined streets, a grocery, hairdresser, café and a restaurant all set to a 1950's theme. In actuality it is not really a village, but a large city block 'nursing home' for dementia patients. Free to come and go in a very safe setting, those lucky enough to get in usually require less medication, become calmer and improve dramatically. Switzerland and Germany are jumping on board. NIMH study: 1 in 4 Americans have a psychiatric illness, ie., they are 'not normal'. This is ludicrous. Also, the dictionary defines 'normal' as being free from a mental disorder. Seriously!? So if you don't have a psychiatric illness, you are normal AND if you do you are not?? Hmmm.....What the heck is 'normal' anyway? And what's so great about being normal? Insider Trading: Putting The 'Con' In Congress

With the lowest approval rating of all time, Congress wanted to prove they were trustworthy. After all, they're "of the people, for the people, by the people," so how to change their image? Ban Congressional Insider Trading, which they did to a whopping 97-3 vote. CIT is already illegal for all of us; Martha Stewart went to prison for lying about it, while congressmen have collectively been making a million here, a billion there off of it. Do you trust the legislation that they created to increase our confidence in them by preventing CIT, or do you think this is for appearances only, and that it will soon return to business as usual?
